Art Music EP is a collection of Filter House/Nu Disco tracks that explore the idea of fragmented identity remixed into infinite transformation. The EP is backed by a driving synth beat and incorporates field recordings and samples from the artist's family home in Hokkaido, Japan, as well as samples of the artist playing improvisational violin.

The Traveler: This track uses rhythmic, driving samples of train station announcements and shinkansen (bullet train) sounds. It is an introduction to the EP, setting the stage for a self-discovery and the search for new experiences.

The Monk: This track uses samples of the artist’s family monk, recorded during a chant sung in honor of the passing of a family member. The artist sings breathy vocals in this downtempo track.

The Geisha: This track uses samples of a geisha cafe visited with the artist and her mother. Women chatter and Japanese pop music plays in the background. This track explores the role of women in dominant notions of family structures, inheritance, and tradition.
